George Kenneth "G. K." McClintock, 81, passed away on December 15, 2014. He was born on July 2, 1933 in Refugio, Texas to Robert Lester and Maggie (Rhoades) McClintock. He married Cherry Dee Hill on October 20, 1951 in Refugio. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a rancher and retired owner-operator of Phillip's 66 Service Station and U-Haul, and Purity Feed and Seed Company, and a liquid feed business. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Cherry McClintock of Beeville; children, Larry Kenneth McClintock and wife Alice of Beeville, Melinda Kay Leal and husband Johnny of Beeville, and Robert William McClintock and wife Lisa of Hawaii; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Davis Leal, Aaron Frazer McClintock, Nathan Allan McClintock, Laura Alice McClintock, and Sarah Katherine Leal Martorell; 3 great grandchildren, Brayden Thomas Martorell, Brodie Hudson Leal, and Makayla Lei McClintock. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry McClintock, Robert McClintock, Johnny Leal, Christopher Leal, Aaron McClintock, Nathan McClintock, Andrew Hill and Dennis Klump.
