Geraldene Holland

Geraldene Holland, 71, of George West, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015. Mrs. Holland was born Oct. 14, 1944, to Ruben and Cora (Cook) Maloney in McKinney, and she married David Holland on Feb. 14, 1975 in McKinney. She was a Baptist and had worked as a banker in the Dallas area. Survivors include her husband, David Holland of George West; a daughter, Shelley D-Ann Maloney Smith of George West; grandchildren, Justin, Haley and Hunter Smith; brothers, Jesse Maloney, Kenneth Maloney and Joe Maloney; and sisters, Mary Bertke and Carol Mills. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in George West. The funeral service will be conducted there at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct 29.
