Gloice Hamilton

Gloice Elaine (Howard) Hamilton, 95, of Beeville, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015. Mrs. Hamilton was born Aug. 25, 1920, in Moline to Pearl (Hunt) and Clarence Howard. She married Thomas Elbert Hamilton in Lampasas on May 10, 1939, and was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and four sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Kay Priddy; a son, Robert "Bob" Howard (Colette) Hamilton; a granddaughter, Natalie Noel Horton; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 11, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, with Rev. Jeff Muehl officiating. Burial will be at Beeville Memorial Park on Monday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Hamilton, Jim Hamilton, Delbert Howard, Sean Horton, James Taylor and Lee Farias.
