Gloria Gomez

Gloria (Garcia) Gomez, 50, of Beeville, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015. Mrs. Gomez was born Oct. 26, 1964, in Kenedy to Olivia (Gonzales) and Domingo Garcia. She married Manuel Gomez and was self-employed with a cleaning service. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her mother, Olivia Garcia; and a son, Michael Gomez. Survivors include her husband, Manuel Gomez Jr. of Mineral; two sons, Manuel (Amanda) Gomez III of Mineral and Matthew (Jennifer) Gomez of Beeville; two daughters, Michelle Gomez of Kenedy and Mercedes Gomez of Beeville; her father, Domingo Garcia of Kenedy; siblings, Domingo Garcia Jr., Carolina De La Garza and Elisa Rahmes, all of Kenedy, and David Garcia of Angleton; nine grandchildren, Ashton, Alex, Michaela, Kaleigh, Aria, Hayden, Aaliyah, Matthew and Addison; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel with a prayer service that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral service will be conducted there Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Tim Henson officiating. Burial will follow in Mineral Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Manuel Gomez Jr., Matthew Gomez, Doming Garcia III, Dion Villarreal, Lawrence Rahmes and Dustin Garcia.
