Guadalupe Bridge

Guadalupe T. "Lupe" Bridge, 87 of Normanna was called home by our Lord and Savior on Friday June 22, 2018. She was born Jan 20, 1931, in Yougeen, Texas.
She was preceded in death her parents, Eduardo and Guadalupe Torrez; spouse, Ben Bridge Sr.; 2 brothers, Timoteo and Jose Torrez; and 2 sisters, Marie Torrez and Janie Marshall.

She is survived by her children, Bennie (Judi) Bridge Jr., Mary (Ruben) Villafranca, Minerva Perez, Amanda (Claudio) Arrisola, Lupe (Dan) Woznitsky, Robert (Linda) Bridge, Edward (Teri) Bridge, Melissa Dial, Bryan Bridge; numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren; and her sister, Frances Law.

In honor of her request a memorial to celebrate her life and devotion to God's work will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at the Quinn Street Church of Christ, 300 Quinn Street in Beeville. Family will receive visitors at 1 p.m. with a memorial to follow.

Lupe was a devoted member of the Quinn St. Church of Christ for many years. She enjoyed reading the Bible and teaching anyone about Christ and His Word. Her unquestionable faith in God and Jesus Christ has inspired and touched many lives both strangers and friends.
She usually enjoyed starting her day out on her front porch watching as God's gift of a morning came to life. She also spent most of her time in her beloved garden and flower beds. Lupe had multiple sewing and craft projects until her health failed a week before her death.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the prayers, thoughts and visits.
