Harold Lee Herrmann, age 90, passed away on December 6, 2010. He was born on June 11, 1920, in Skidmore, Texas, to F.J. and Mary Vavrusa Herrmann. He served in the Army Air Corps and was a World War II veteran. He married Doris Harrison on November 13, 1947, in George West, Texas. He retired from Central Power & Light as an electrical patrolman. He is survived by his son, Harold Lee and Sharon Herrmann of Victoria, Texas; daughter, Adonna and Byron Dugat of Kerrville, Texas; daughter-in-law, Pat Herrmann of Wichita, Kansas; one brother, E. M. Herrmann of Beeville, Texas; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in Beeville, Texas with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Donohoe officiating. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas. Pallbearers were Jason Herrmann, Nathan Dugat, Kevin Dugat, Gene Herrmann, Rocky Bashaw and Clint Wood.
