Harold Maupin

Harold Glenn Maupin, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born August 3, 1931, in Jourdanton, Texas to his parents, Vinson and Alma (Pittman) Maupin. He married Charlene Woelfel on March 4, 1952, in Three Rivers, Texas. Harold was a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Airforce and worked many years in the oil and gas industry and retired from Valero refinery. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Charlene Maupin; daughter, Sandra (Slick) Ballard; son, Randy (Julie) Maupin; two sisters, Joy Beth Hill and Evelyn Erwin; six grandchildren, Lance Calloway, Nicole Herrera, Randi Maupin, Taylor Ballard Ryan Kennedy and Lauryn Bolland; seven great-grandchildren, Emilee Ulke, Taylan Ulke, Nara Calloway, Adelle Calloway, Levi Kennedy, Addison Kennedy and Madelyn Bolland. Visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Galloway Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers, Texas with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that evening. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Three Rivers, Texas. Interment to follow at Three Rivers Cemetery, Three Rivers, Texas. Pallbearers will be Darrell Ritcher, Billie Lynn, Willie Milburn, Gregg Goebel, Kenny Richards, Gene Woelfel, Taylor Ballard and Lance Calloway. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Hannah, Bill Wieding, Toby Perez, Joe Malik and Cliff Hunter.
