Hazel Mcguill

Hazel Evelyn (Green) McGuill, 94, of Beeville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018.
Mrs. McGuill was born Sept. 12, 1924 in Bee County to Sam A. and Mattie (Palmer) Green. She married Daniel Merle McGuill on July 21, 1941 in Beeville. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and retired from Beeville Independent School District as a teacher's assistant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, David M. McGuill; two brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include her children, Donna McGuill (Jerry L. Hill) of Rockport and Daniel R. (Mary Ann) McGuill of Lakeland, Florida; two grandchildren, Lara Billard of Beeville and Daniel R. (Leslie) McGuill Jr. of Lakeland, Florida; and six great-grandchildren, Rachel Malone of Beeville, Leah Malone of Beeville, Justice McGuill, Jeremy McGuill, Rachel McGuill and Maxwell McGuill.
Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel.
The funeral service will be conducted there Saturday afternoon, Oct. 20, at 2 o'clock with Pastor Isaiah Villarreal officiating. Special selections will include "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" and "Amazing Grace" with Mary Ellen Thoms as organist.
Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
