Helen Rothlisberger

Helen Mae Rothlisberger, 88, passed away on July 17, 2012. She was born on May 30, 1924, in Tynan, Texas, to John and Francis (Mica) Faktor. She married Edgar Rothlisberger on November 18, 1943, in Skidmore, Texas. Mae was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Joseph Altar Society. She was preceded in death by Edgar, her husband of 35 years; her parents; three sisters, Matilda Peter, Esther Peters and Anita Schumann; and one grandson, John Vanecek. She is survived by five sons, Allen (Beverly) Rothlisberger of Beeville, Texas, Kenny Rothlisberger of Taft, Texas, Joe Rothlisberger of Los Angeles, California, Garry (Laura) Rothlisberger of Beeville, Texas, and Dale Rothlisberger of Beeville, Texas; two daughters, Carolyn (Don) Havelka of Robstown, Texas, and Terry Sassin of Corpus Christi, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Elda De Leon, a loving family member and caregiver. Thank you also to Exclusive Home Health Care, The Mirador of Corpus Christi and Kindred Hospital of Corpus Christi. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited that evening at 7:30 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012 ,at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Randy Rothlisberger, Keith Havelka, Kyle Rothlisberger, Lee Rothlisberger, Jace Rothlisberger, Lane Rothlisberger, Matt Havelka, Jason Havelka, Kris Havelka, Shane Vanecek, Pat Dougherty, John Gayle and Will Handy.
