Herbert Ball, Jr.

Herbert Edward Ball, Jr., 66, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018.
Mr. Ball was born February 18, 1952, to Helena Arabella (McKinney) and Herbert Edward Ball, Sr. in Beeville, Texas. He was a 1973 graduate of Texas A&M University, where he received his Master's Degree in Education. He married Mary Beth Sellers on December 14, 1973, in Beeville. After retiring from the Bee County Extension Service, he went to work for Rabe Real Estate as a real estate agent. He was a member of the Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. He was a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Mary Beth.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Ball of Beeville; daughter, Lauren Ball of Victoria; brothers, Richard (Kathy) Ball and Clay Ball, both of Goliad, and John (Virginia) Ball of Victoria.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. A Rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Father Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Richard Ball, Larry Sellers, Richard Rabe, Dodson Sullivan, Louie Sanchez, Morgan O'Brien, David Huser and Brek Letsinger.
Those who wish may make donations to one's favorite charity in memory of Herbert.
