Herman Conder

Herman O. Conder, 75, of Beeville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, in Corpus Christi.
Mr. Conder was born Sept. 6, 1943, to Elmer and Cova (Arms) Conder in Bloomington, Illinois. He married Karen Mann in Beeville on Oct. 21, 2006. He was employed for 33 years with Hundman Lumber in Bloomington, Illinois, and the past seven years at Wal-Mart in Beeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Cova Conder; three sisters, Ina Warmoth, Jean Niepagen and Geneva Rist; three brothers, James Conder, Elmer Conder Jr. and Clarence Reed; and a brother-in-law, Wayne Niepagen.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Conder of Beeville; two sons, Travis G. Burns and John P.L. Burns; four sisters, Janet (Tom) Brady, Ruby Risselman, Lida Chapman and Helen (Dave) Wilkins; a brother, Larry Conder; granddaughter, Makayla Burns; sister-in-law, Bonnie Mann; father- and mother-in-law, Edward and Virginia Mann; a niece, Tiffany Mann; and a great-niece, Aubree Martinez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in Beeville.
The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, with Pastor Carl Pickett officiating followed by burial at Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Travis and John Burns, Armando Garza, Carlos Lopez, James Haley and Jessie Romero.
