Israel Ochoa

Israel "Roy" Basquez Ochoa, 71, passed away on April 18, 2016. He was born on August 1,1944, in Levelland,Texas to Francisco Balerio and Margarita (Basquez) Ochoa. He married Maria Gonzales on November 30, 1962, in Levelland, Texas. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a truck driver and backhoe operator. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Concha Palacios, Elma Ochoa and Maria Elena Guerrero. His is survived by his wife, Maria Ochoa; and four daughters, Dianna (David) Luna of Three Rivers, Norma (Martin) Zuniga of George West, Christina Canales of Corpus Christi and Leticia (Stacey) Adams of Round Rock; four grandchildren, Yvette, Victoria, Jonathan and Michelle Luna; and eight sisters, Elida Dominguez, Angelita Robles, Elidia Cordova, Manuela Burciaga, Frances Orosco, Silvia Deleon, Debra Rodriguez and Pina Avalos; and one brother, Santos Jose Ochoa. Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers. Interment followed at Nell Cemetery in Nell,Texas. Pallbearers were Heraclio Yzaguirre, Guadalupe Gonzales Jr., Stacey Adams, Anthony Gallegos, Jose Sanchez and Lucio Morin.
