Jack Wiley McBride, 70, passed away on March 9, 2015. He was born on December 20, 1944 to Jack Wiley and Mary Margaret (Hoffpower) McBride in Houston, Texas. He married Sarah Smith on May 21, 1981 in Three Rivers. He was a member of First Baptist Church of George West, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Sarah; 3 daughters, Jenny McBride of Sealy, Melissa (Ronnie) Gee of George West, and Rebecca (Nathan) See of Caldwell; 6 grandchildren, Lacey, Kaleb, Kyle, Cody, Ashley, and Ryder Jack; 3 great-grandchildren, Logan, Christopher, and Emily; 1 sister, Shirley (Ross) Stephenson of Houston; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at First Baptist Church in George West. Interment will follow at George West Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Gee, Bugs Wood, Larry Mangum, Dennis Maurer, Ronnie Gee, David Smith, Terry Smith, Larry Smith, Gary Smith, Randy Smith, Kaleb Gee, and Cody Farquer. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Conn, Mark Bledsoe, Monty Lyne, Wesley Reagan, Jimmy Strause, and the Dairy Queen Roundtable Group. Those who wish may make donations to First Baptist Church of George West or South Texas Children's Home.
