James Nayor, Jr.

James Ellis "Butch" Naylor Jr., 59, of Beeville, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2016. Mr. Naylor was born Sept. 18, 1957, in Beeville to Lillie Mae (Jancha) and James Ellis Naylor Sr. He earned an associate's degree and was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include a sister, Billie Jean Hatley of Beeville; two nieces, Melissa Hatley and Betsy Hatley; and a nephew, Stuart Sanchez. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Musical selections included "Amazing Grace" and "Softly and Tenderly". Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore. Pallbearers will be Jason Weischwill, Bill DeFries, Kevin Behr, Mark Pacheco, Patty Wade and Stuart Sanchez.
