James “Jimmy Ray” Dwayne Ray, 50, of Skidmore, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019.
Mr. Ray was born Nov. 16, 1968, in Bellflower, California, to James Clarence and Darlene Faye (Frieson) Ray. He was a member of the Cowboy Church, an ironworker/rigger, member of the Brothers of the Hook Organization. He spent his free time riding his Harley “Lorie Darlin’” and enjoyed hearing God’s Word at the Cowboy Church in Orange Grove, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Darlene F. Ray of Hutchinson, Kansas; a son, Joey Dwayne Ray of Skidmore; two brothers, Randy (April) Ray of Hutchinson and Bruce (Vickie) Ray of Langdon, Kansas; two sisters, Cindy Herzog and Sandra Ray Ruble, both of Hutchinson; and seven nieces and nephews, Randy A. Ray, Chassity Lindeman, Kalli Ray, Thomas Herzog, Phillip Herzog, Stephanie Herzog and Randy Ray, Jr.; and three great-nieces and great-nephews, James Herzog, Landon Herzog and Nicole Herzog.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
