Jamie Finch

Jamie Orear Finch, 79, formerly of Beeville, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012. Mrs. Finch was born Dec. 4, 1932, to Morton Manchester and Lake Erie (Watson) Boren in Winsboro. She married Billy Royce Finch on March 11, 1950, in Stockdale. She was a member of River Hills Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Billy Royce Finch of Katy; daughters, Linda (Donald) Campo of Fulshear and Rita (Dan)Bowen of Houston; a son, Bill (Cindy) Finch of Gonzales; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Billie Gulley and Marjorie (Tommy) Bingham, both of Pearsall; and a half-brother, Allen (Sharon) Givens of El Campo. Visitation was held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service followed at 2 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery.
