Jennie Evans

Jennie Elizabeth Evans, 91, was born April 26,1924 in Beeville Texas. She passed away peacefully in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 25, 2015 among family. She was a graduate of Baylor University. Jennie was a loving wife, mother and sister. She often volunteered at Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi in her younger days. Jennie was preceded in death by her mother Nona Berry Davis and father Charles Green Davis, her husband of fifty seven years, Malcom Dugger "Stretch" Evans and her twin sister, Nona Lee "Tocker" Davis. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Berry Evans and his wife Sharon, George Kline Evans and his wife Paula, grandson Ryan Malcom Evans, and three granddaughters, Taylor Paige Evans, Bonnie Elizabeth Evans and Jennie Marie Evans and many nephews and nieces. A viewing is planned at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville on Sunday, June 28, 2015 starting 12:00 pm (noon) until service time at 2:00pm that afternoon. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
