Jessica Martinez

Jessica Justine Martinez of Kingsville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer at the young age of 32.

Jessica was born December 26, 1988 in San Marcos to Esther Martinez. She attended George West and Beeville ISDs and was a beautician by trade who enjoyed doing hair and makeup. Her No. 1 passion in life was loving and caring for her children, Carmen, Karley and David Jr.

Left behind to cherish fond memories include the love of her life and partner, David Lee Jimenez; their beloved three children, Carmen Angelee Jimenez, Karley Janel Jimenez and David Lee Jimenez Jr.; her parents, Esther and Joe Rios; five sisters, Rosalina Martinez, Ruby Martinez, Ashley Rios, Candy Rios and Maria Varela; a brother, Joe Rios Jr.; grandfather, Ruben Martinez; mother and father-in-law, Maricruz and Jimmy Rodriguez; and  numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. Monday, April 26, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West followed by the funeral service at 1 o’clock. Jessica will be laid to rest at the George West Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Vincent Lopez, Abel Perez, Adrian Alaniz, Christian Moya, Roman Salazar, Orlando Gallegos, Ruby Martinez and Johnathon Perez.

Honorary pallbearer will be Joe Rios Jr.
