Jo Gibson

MATHIS, TEXAS Jo Ann Gibson, 74, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her home in Mathis, Texas. Jo Ann was born June 14, 1938 in Bruni, Texas. She was a baptist and a homemaker. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed gardening. Jo Ann was the life of the party and children adored her. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Ora Lee and Arthur Gibson and two brothers, Howard and Arthur. She is survived by her husband, Paul McNinch; her sister, Virginia Harlow and her husband Jim of Trinity, Texas and her sister, Jewel Smith and her husband Caroll of San Marcos, Texas. Jo Ann is also survived by her step-children, Carol Crisp and her husband, Butch of Corpus Christi, Texas, Beth Machen and her husband Malcolm of Pleasanton, Texas and Leon McNinch and his wife Susan of George West, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Darrell Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John David Machen, Michael Gibson, Pete Champion, Philip Perricone, Clifford McNinch and Jim Harlow.
