Joe Cox

Joe Steven Cox, 49, passed away on October 14, 2017. He was born on December 4, 1967, to Jay Sterling and Annie Mae (Doubrava) Cox in Beeville, Texas. He was a Lutheran and worked as a master mechanic for Aztec Chevrolet. He took pride in everything he did and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and step-sister, Arleen Davis.

He is survived by his sons, Brandon Cox of San Antonio, Texas and Brian Cox of San Antonio, Texas; step-son, Eric Rodriguez, I of San Antonio, Texas; siblings, Jerry (Sharon) Cox of Corpus Christi, Texas, Linda Ann (John) Henkhaus of Beeville, Texas, Sandra Kay (Alex) Trevino of Beeville, Texas and Michael Wayne Cox of Corpus Christi, Texas; girlfriend, Mia Moore; and step-grandchild, Eric Rodriguez, II.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas with Rev. Gary Conklin officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ed Long, Javier Martinez, Danny Guzman, Moses Reyes, Alex Trevino, Bobby Blair and Eluterio "Cat" Gregorio Olveia.
