John S. Crouch, 53, of Beeville, died Saturday, May 12, 2018.
Mr. Crouch was born April 16, 1965, in Topeka, Kansas, to Nancy K. LaValley and Paul W. Crouch. He married Janet Rives on March 10, 1997, in Beeville and was captain in the laundry department at the McConnell Unit. He was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed his animals and planting with his tractor.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Crouch of Beeville; five step-children, Rebecca (Ben) Garner, Julie Carr Staples, Jeffery Carr and Jeremy Carr, all of Beeville, and Kimberly (Donovan) Thomas of George West; four sisters, Candy Crouch, Tina Crouch and Michelle Glover, all of Beeville, and Cindy Vanway of Dinero; and six grandchildren, Kyle, Kayeleigha, Kaleb, Kirarrah, Kholton and Kaiylian.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 18, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel.
The funeral service will follow at 2 o'clock with Rev. Greg Traylor officiating. Music selections will include "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace" by organist Mary Ellen Thoms.
Honorary pallbearers will be Eve Clemens, Kyle Garner, Shaldan Clemens, Bradley Clemens, Kandra Clemens, Eileen DeWitt, Jeffery Carr, Jeremy Carr and Kayeleigha Garner.
