John Haskin

John Haskin, 61, of Normanna, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012. Mr. Haskin was born Jan. 14, 1951, in Corpus Christi, to Arlene Ware and James Haskin. He married Estella Simerly in Normanna on Sept. 10, 2012. He served in the U.S. Army and was a mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Estella Haskin of Normanna; three daughters, Julie (James) Summers of Beeville, Shena (Jason) Brewster and Shauna Haskin, both of North Carolina; four sons, Billy Jack (Bernice) Haskin of Normanna, John Bell Jr. of Coffeyville, Kan., Brandon (Amanda) Haskin of North Carolina and Tyler Haskin of Corpus Christi; his mother, Arlene Darnall; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Bettie (Chet) Brown of Beeville and Tamara Darnall of North Carolina; and three brothers, Jimmy (Lucinda) Haskin of Oklahoma, Jerry (Judy) Haskin of Ingleside and Jeff Haskin of Normanna.
