John Thomas "Tom" Mills, 73, of Reserve, Louisiana, passed away on February 19, 2018. He was born in Oakville, Texas on November 22, 1944.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Mills; daughters, Jennifer (Gary) Mobley and Stephanie (Dan) Damitio; his grandchildren, JT Naquin, Heather Loupe,
and Sarah Damitio; his sister, Margaret "Sissy" Goebel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Mills; mother, Hazel Mills Mussman; brothers, Jack "Shelly" Mills, Louie "Booky" Mills; and sister, Pat Mills Kerr.
He was the most amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. The Greater Baton Rouge Model Railroaders were so special to him. He cherished his relationship with them. Tom was a remarkable man and he will be greatly missed.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Brush Country Cowboy Church with the service following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Pat Traxler officiating. Interment will follow at Oakville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Hondo Goebel, Wyatt Schroeder, Orin Kerr, Justin Meeks, Mike Johnson, Booky Goebel, Mitch McGee and Mills McGee.
