Joyce Collier

Joyce Alleene (Taylor) Collier, 82, of Tuleta, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011. Mrs. Collier was born Feb. 1, 1929, in Beeville to Mattie Alice (Scott) and James Bonnell Taylor. She married Walter Giles Collier in Tuleta on July 3, 1948, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Nov. 3, 1998; and a brother, J.B. Taylor. Survivors include a few nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 o'clock Friday morning at Glenwood Cemetery with Scott Taylor officiating.
