Juan Lopez

Juan Lopez, 76, of George West, Texas passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville.

Juan was born Dec. 21, 1945 in Valle Hermoso, Mexico, to Maria Ema Gutierrez and Romulo Lopez. He was of the Catholic faith and was a hard worker in the carpentry industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Ema Gutierrez and Romulo Lopez; and a brother, Argelio Lopez.

Survivors include three daughters, Maria Dolores Lopez of Houston, Gracielda Lopez of George West and Teresa Lopez of Seguin; two sons, Juan Lopez Jr. and Jesus Lopez, both of Houston; four sisters, Aurora Sanchez of Tennessee, Oralia Fuentes and Teresa Mendoza, both of George West and Elma Moreno of Beeville; four brothers, Aurelio Lopez and Alejandro Lopez, both of George West and Homero Lopez and Amadeo Lopez, both of McAllen; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Impact Church in George West followed by a prayer service at 7 o’clock with Rev. Trino Paiz officiating.

Burial will be held at a later date.
