Juanita R. Suarez

Juanita (Ruiz) Suarez, 91, of George West, Texas passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the Live Oak Nursing Center. She was born on November 19, 1933, in Sinton, Texas to Jose Angel Ruiz and Atilana (Martinez) Ruiz and was the last remaining of 10 siblings.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Freasier, Jr, and is survived by her children, Roland (Diana) Torres of Orange Grove, Arnulfo Torres of Beeville, Mary (Robert) Appling of George West, Manuel (Grace) Torres of George West and Oscar (Anita) Torres of George West; ten grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. 

Juanita was a devoted lifelong Christian and a longtime and dedicated parishioner of St. George Catholic Church in George West.

The funeral services on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, will be officiated by Father Romeo Salinas at the St. George Catholic Church in George West. A Rosary will begin at 9:30a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. and interment at the St. George Catholic Cemetery in George West.
