Kenneth Freasier

Kenneth Freasier, 87, of Normanna, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. He was born on September 18, 1930, to Eugene and Mamie Oda (Wesson) Freasier in Live Oak County. He married Joyce Kidd in Cadiz, Texas on June 22, 2008. Mr. Freasier retired from L. S. Morrison Grocery and Meat Market in George West after 44 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the Cadiz Baptist Church where he served as Head Deacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Iris Wilkinson Freasier; sister, Mabel Sciba; and two brothers, Russell Johnson and Paul Freasier.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Freasier of Normanna; sister, Lena Mae (Roy) Haney of Beeville; daughter, Candy Burrell of Tomball; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in Beeville. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Larry Martin and Rev. Vernon Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at the George West Cemetery.
