Kyle Anthony Clark, 62, of Pawnee, Texas, was called home June 21, 2013. Mr. Clark was born March, 2, 1951, to Robert Kyle and Mable Clark in Bayler County, Texas. Mr. Clark was raised in the Kenedy area, completing his education at Kenedy High School and graduating in 1971. Mr. Clark served in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War as an aircraft mechanic; was honorably discharged with several decorations and awards in 1975. Upon his successful return, Mr. Clark eventually took root in Pawnee, Texas, working for many years at Hoyte and Elizabeth Gentry Ranch. He was working for them at the time of his passing. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Beeville and loved to sing in their choir every Sunday. Church was home to him, and you can count with one hand the days that he missed Sunday service. He enjoyed operating heavy machinery, and no one can run "Big Red" like he did. He was a hunter in his early years and later in his life respected and appreciated wildlife; all kinds of animals had special connection with him. Kyle's corn bread was the best; it evoked, powerfully, the heart, soul and the taste of home. He is survived by his son, Randy Clark and his wife Mary Clark; grandchildren, Brittany Plummer, Zechariah Plummer and Jeremiah Plummer; brothers, Arthur Clark, Albert Clark and Alvin Clark. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Beeville, Texas. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church and will be conducted by Pastor Greg Traylor. All friends and family are welcome. The family asks that a contribution be made in Kyle Clark's name to the First Baptist Church in Beeville in lieu of flowers.
