Larry Brown

Larry Thomas Brown, 65, of Bee County, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016. Mr. Brown was born April 4, 1950, in Rotan to Stella Head and Lamual Thomas Brown. He was retired senior chief with 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy. He was a Baptist and a member of the VFW in Refugio. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Betty Brown of Beeville; mother, Stella Brown of Phoenix, Arizona; two sons, Larry Thomas Brown II and Joshua Lynn Brown, both of Houston; two brothers, Hollis Brown and Pete Brown; a sister, Neta Friezzell; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, with Rev. Homer Hanna officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
