Larry Telge

Larry Irwin Telge, 70, of Skidmore and formerly of Woodsboro, died Friday, May 19, 2017.

Mr. Telge was born in Nueces County on April 19, 1947, to Emil Henry and Vera Lee (Ball) Telge. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired diesel mechanic and truck driver. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Jeanette McVey.

Survivors include three children, Larri Ann (Jay) Wright and Tricia (Jason) Loop, both of Uvalde, and Patrick (Robyn) Gordon of Yoakum; siblings, Ronnie Telge, Lillian Karstedt, Randell Telge, Karen Taylor and Gary Telge, all of Woodsboro, and Dorothy Thurman of Lincoln, Nebraska; and nine grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 16, at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery of Corpus Christi.
