Laurie Massengale

Laurie Lynn Massengale, 43, of Beeville, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015. She was born April 26, 1971, to Erwin Massengale and Lana Nance Massengale in Corpus Christi. She was a 1989 A.C. Jones High School graduate. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Evelyn and Mack Massengale; and maternal grandparents, Buck and Barbara Nance. Survivors include her son, Chance Erwin Watson of Huntsville; her parents, Erwin and Lana Massengale of Beeville; two sisters, Lee Ann (Skeeter) Johnson of Mapleton and Katy (Jason) McGriff of Beeville; and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Don Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thad Nance, Shep Nance, Tim Rider, Jason McGriff, Skeeter Johnson and Blake Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces, Beau Morgan Johnson, Taylor McGriff and Madison McGriff.
