Lester Kolacek

Lester Lynn Kolacek, 52, of George West died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015. Mr. Kolacek was born July 10, 1962 to Lurtice and Loyce Renick Kolacek in Three Rivers. After graduating from George West, he married Valeta Ann Linnean of Farmington, NM on May 18, 1982. He spend most of his life working in the oil field but was working at the Haskins Ranch most recently. Mr. Kolacek was a member of the First Baptist Church of George West where he was baptized on Oct. 15, 1972. He was preceded in death by his wife, Valeta Kolacek. Survivors include his parents; a son Davey Gene (Stephanie) Kolacek of Farmington, NM; and a brother, Larry Kolacek of George West. Visitation was held Saturday, Feb. 28 from 5-7 p.m. at the Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West. Services were held Sunday, Mar. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West with Rev. Bruce Irving officiating. Burial followed at the George West Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rick Renick, Shaun Greiner, Rob Lamprecht, Donny Lamprecht, Thomas Gilbert, and Walter Woolf.
