Lillian Young

Lillian Frances Young, died on Sunday, August 7, 2016. She was born October 30, 1932 in Leming, Texas to Frances (Kalka) and Albert Felix Kolenda. She had resided in San Antonio for 31 years before moving to George West in 2014. She was a catholic and had retired from San Antonio I.S.D. where she was a secretary. She married Charles Arthur Schellhase on September 11, 1954 and Herbert Young on June 7, 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and a grandson, Matt Schellhase. Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Robert) Moody of George West; son, Don (Sherry) Schellhase of Paint Rock; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and sister, JoAnn Seifert of Pleasanton. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West, Texas. Funeral service will be conducted there at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 with Mr. Shayne Katzfey officiating. Interment will follow at George West Cemetery.
