Linda Thelma Crawford

Linda Thelma Crawford, 89 passed away on April 16, 2024, in Alice, Texas. She was born in Runge, Texas to Willie and Henrietta Krietsch on July 8, 1934. She married Douglas Crawford in Alice, Texas in 1955 and remained by his side until his passing in December 2014.

Linda had a long and successful career in the car dealership industry where she was highly valued and respected. She had a heart of gold and loved her family and friends deeply.  She was an amazing cook, and enjoyed playing the slots when she, her husband and sons would visit the casinos. Linda was a kind woman who will be missed by many.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Douglas Crawford; her son, Chris Crawford; her parents, Willie and Henrietta Krietsch; and her siblings, Herbert Krietsch, Vera Scheel, Roland Krietsch, Raymond Krietsch and Anita Hammack.

She is survived by her sons, Chuck Crawford (Karen) and Craig Crawford; daughter-in law, Carolyn Crawford; her grandchildren, Courtney Frocione (Travis) and Tara Crawford; great-grandchildren, Hunter Wagner (Lauren), Chaysea Armer (Lane) and Bostyn Wagner; great-great-granddaughter, Adalynne Armer; and nephew, Herbert Krietsch Jr. (Linda).

Please join us as we celebrate Linda’s life on Saturday, April 20^, with visitation from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home, located at 1600 Laurel Ave. in Three Rivers, Texas.

A graveside service will directly follow at 4:30 p.m. at the George West Cemetery located at 517 Cemetery Rd. in George West, Texas.
