Linda Lynelle Lee

Linda Lynelle (Freasier) Lee, 76, of Beeville, Texas, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born July 31, 1947, in Beeville to Paul William Freasier and Lela Maud (Lindholm) Freasier. She was a graduate of Victoria High School and on November 19, 1983, she married the love of her life, Carl Larry Lee, in Corpus Christi. She was employed as a phone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and retired after 15 years of dedicated service to enjoy life traveling alongside her husband, Larry.

Linda served as church secretary for Cadiz Baptist Church where she was a faithful member for 30 years. As a giving community member, she volunteered numerous years with the Vineyard Christmas Angels project. Her radiant smile and full-of-life personality made her beautiful inside and out. To her grandchildren, she was the best “Nenie” ever and she was dearly loved by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandson. She had the magical ability to make the most stone-faced person crack a smile.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lela Freasier.

Left behind to cherish beautiful memories include her loving husband of almost 40 years, Carl Larry Lee of Beeville; two daughters, Amy Lynn (Carlton) Jenkins and Imelda “Susie” Leonard (Michael Anderson), both of Beeville; three grandchildren, Kacey Perkins, Brittany Patrick and Faith "Leonard" Vela; her great-grandson, Kal Perkins; a brother, Eugene (Donna) Bednorz of George West; one aunt, Lena Mae Haney; one niece, Missy Davis; a nephew, Corey Bednorz; and numerous great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, at Cadiz Baptist Church with Mr. Warner Collier officiating.

Inurnment will be held at 1 o’clock that afternoon at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
