Lucille Chandler

Lucille Wanda Chandler, 71, of Normanna, Texas passed away on March 10, 2018, at her home in Normanna. Mrs. Chandler was born December 17, 1946, in Clegg, Texas to Dolly (Latham) and Sidney Hendrick. She married Nelson Chandler on May 29, 1972, in Devine, Texas. She was a member of Pettus United Methodist Church and was a Business and Computer Teacher for many years. She also worked in the commercial computer industry. After retiring from teaching, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren on her ranch in Normanna.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolly and Sidney Hendrick who lived in Bruni, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, Nelson Chandler of Normanna; a son, Eric Chandler and wife Mona of New Braunfels; a daughter, Erin Dial and husband Robert of Normanna; three grandchildren, Abbigail Chandler, Hannah Dial and Wyatt Dial.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Pettus United Methodist Church in Pettus, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on March 13, 2018, at the Pettus United Methodist Church with Rev. Kristie Crisp officiating. Interment will follow at San Domingo Cemetery in Normanna.
