Chris McDonald (58) of Beeville, TX passed away July 27, 2012 at his place of residence. He was born to Nell and Ben F. McDonald in Corpus Christi, TX August 17, 1953 with great joy and excitement. Chris married Sharon L. (Sliva) Bivens of Skidmore, TX July 23, 1996. Chris was a lifetime advocate of hunting and fishing and was a Texas Game Warden for Texas Parks and Wildlife with over 40 years of dedicated service. Chris was involved in and supported youth hunting and fishing programs statewide throughout his entire career and was a member of the Scottish Rite, York Rite and a Past Master of Beeville Masonic Lodge #261. A memorial service will be held in his honor at River Hills Baptist Church, 16318 FM 624, Robstown, TX 78380 on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Chris' preferred organization - Texas Game Warden Association, 4367 FM 1047, Hamilton, TX 76531. Stepson David Bivens of Beeville, TX and stepdaughter Lynette Beasley (Jason) of College Station, TX. Brother Kevin McDonald (Tammy) of Corpus Christi, TX, sisters Molly McDonald - Ogden (Jon) of Austin, TX, Amanda McDonald - Buckalew (Bob) of Austin, TX. Four grandchildren Kirsten, Kyle, Kelsey and Landon plus numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Chris was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Nell McDonald.
