Maria Garza

Maria Isabel Garza, 85, of Beeville Texas passed into the loving arms of her Savior on Jan 14, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas. She was surrounded by her loving family during her time of illness. Maria was a loving and giving mother that would place everyone before herself. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Victory church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Salvador P Garza; her parents, Eusebio and Ramona B. Olivarez; two sisters, Petra Brown, Delores Villarreal and two brothers; Raynaldo Olivarez, Bennie Olivarez and one grandchild Ricardo Cervantez.

She is survived by 5 children; Daniel (MaryAnn), Robert R (Shadow), Salvador Garza, Mary Cervantez, and Lillian (Kevin) Folsom; a sister Severa Echols ; a brother Raymond Olivarez Sr. ; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation and viewing will be held at 6 to 8 pm Monday Jan 16, at Galloway & Sons chapel, with a Holy rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.

The funeral service with Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Beeville, Texas Tuesday 10:00 AM Jan 17 2017 with Father Luke officiating. Burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Christopher and Nathaniel Cantu; Bobby, Sonny, and Robert Garza; Nicholas Bishop.
