Marjorie Owen

Marjorie Aileen Owen, 85, a life-long resident of Bee County passed away on July 28, 2013. She was born on October 4, 1927, in the Orangedale Community to Clarence (C.D.) and Mary Kirkpatrick Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Sherrod (WyJoe) and Fred Henry, one sister Betty (Henry) Robinson, one niece Linda (Robinson) Fisher, and all of her brothers-in-law. She is survived by her son, Michael Owen and wife Cheryl of Lakehills, TX; her daughter, Cynthia Davies and husband Rick of Woodbridge, VA; four grandchildren: Mary (Owen) Davis and her husband Mike of Claremore, OK, Jason Owen and his wife Adrienne of Burleson, TX, Lisa Davies of Chicago, IL, and Leslie Davies of Woodbridge, VA; four great-grandchildren: Andrew and Briana Davis of Claremore, OK, Katelyn (Katie) and Kyle Owen of Burleson, TX; two brothers: Ray Henry of Beeville and David Henry of Houston; two sisters: Alma Doubrava and Mary Johnson, both of Beeville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and close friends will be from 1 pm to 3 pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Galloway Funeral Home and Chapel in Beeville. Closed casket services will then be at 3 pm. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, also in Beeville. Pallbearers will be Ms. Owen's nephews: Leslie Henry, Rick Webb, David Webb, and Gary Henry; grandson, Jason Owen and great-grandson Andrew Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Bobby Robinson, Robert Doubrava Jr., Doug Doubrava and Charles Doubrava.
