Mary Everett

Mary Louise Everett, 96, died Monday, June 30, 2014. Mrs. Everett was born in Beeville on Feb. 14, 1918, to Emma Susan (Mills) and John Franklin Gaskins. She was an artist, winning Artist of the Year for Bandera County. She enjoyed doing creative stitchery, arts and crafts, home decorating and raising funds for the Camp Bandina Church of Christ, which she designed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ebb Everett. Survivors include her daughters, Ebba (Jim) Sanders and Maggie (Dick) Foerster; three granddaughters; one grandson; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Linda (Mel) Allen. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, July 12, at 11 a.m. at the Camp Bandina Church of Christ in Bandera. A private interment will follow in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Camp Bandina Church of Christ or to the charity of one's choice.
