Mary Mcneill

Mary Elizabeth "Mita" McNeill, 84, of Beeville, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Mrs. McNeill was born June 26, 1926, to Ann Gabriel Seger and Robert William Oliver. She married Dr. Scott E. McNeill Sr. in Beeville in 1959, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert William and Ann Gabriel Oliver; her husband, Dr. Scott E. McNeill Sr.; three sisters; and one brother. Survivors include three sisters, Grace Sullivan of Beeville, Gladys Cook of Las Vegas, Nev., and Joann Morton of Victoria; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Patrick Donohoe officiating. Burial followed in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rick Morton, James Oliver, Stephen Taylor, Mike Harvey, Thom Aman, John Morton and Ken Harvey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J.
