Mary Gentry Neff, 92, of Corpus Christi and formerly of Three Rivers, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019.
Mrs. Neff was born July 11, 1926, in Junction to Tom and Jessie Bell (Hammonds) Gentry. She married Thomas Lee Neff in 1947 in Junction. She was a member of the Baptist church, a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, ceramics and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, one sister, two grandchildren, a great-grandchild, a great-great-grandchild and three nephews and nieces.
She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Barter (Steve) of Beeville; a son, Robert Neff of Big Lake; a sister, Ethel (David) Brockman of Fort Stockton; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and 14 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville.
The funeral service will be conducted there at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, with Pastor Tim Stowe officiating. Special selections will include "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," "Amazing Grace" and "Going Home." Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
Pallbearers will be Steve Barter III, Danny Barter, Kevin Barter, Markus Barter, Travis Neff and Chad Aaron.
