Mary Pendley

Mary Elizabeth Pendley, 53, of Beeville, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2018.

Mrs. Pendley was born May 23, 1964, in San Antonio to Carol Bozman and David Jackson. She married Howard Pendley on June 9, 2006, in Goliad. She was a Christian and an ordained minister. She was also a notary public and an avid collector of all things, especially dishes. She enjoyed cooking and playing cards.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Carlson; and brother, Bobby Rice Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Pendley of Beeville; a son, Bobby Rice III of Beeville; two brothers, Brian Carlson of Beeville and Zion (Ashley) Carlson of Waco; two sisters, Shel'lee Carlson of Martinez, California, and Jo Ann (Eddie) Davidson of Midland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Archie Pendley officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Rivers, Spencer Rivers, Mitchell Rivers, Lionel Garza, Adrian Rivas and Marty Rivas.
