Mary Swinky

Mary Helen Swinky, 56, of Mathis, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Mrs. Swinky was born on April 27, 1961, to Dorothy (Stratmann) and Earl James Cramer in Alice, Texas. She married Edward Emil Swinky, Jr. on December 1, 1990, in Beeville, Texas. She was a retired Justice of the Peace secretary and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl James and Dorothy Cramer.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Emil Swinky, Jr. of Mathis; her four brothers, Robert James (Connie) Cramer of Bayside, Joseph Gerard Cramer and John Edward Cramer both of Skidmore and Paul David (Cara) Cramer of Inez; and her sister, Diane Elizabeth Cramer of Skidmore.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Angelus Funeral Home chapel with a rosary recited there that evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore.
