Maude Emma "Dinky" (Kramer) Schwierzke, 87, of Beeville, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011. Mrs. Schwierzke was born July 20, 1924, in Bayside to Pearl Evelyn (Brown) and Berthold Kramer. She married Hilmer Schwierzke in Sinton on Dec. 5, 1941, and was a homemaker and a member of Adams Street Church of Christ. She was a volunteer for Ladies Auxiliary for Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville, a sponsor for 4-H Clubs-Boots and Saddles, a member of Home Extension Club and active member of the Bee County Republican Women's Organization. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Sept. 1, 1994; two brothers, Berthold Kramer and Chester Ray Kramer; and three sisters, Ima Jean Kramer, Louise Hall and Ramona Bailey. Survivors include her children, Hilmer Schwierzke Jr. and Jenny Raymond, both of Flour Bluff, Beverly (Donald) Hoaglin of Beeville, Miles Schwierzke of Hondo and Brenda (Bob Warner) Law of Portland; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nellie Marie West of Pensacola, Fla. The funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at Galloway & Sons chapel with Brother James Burster officiating. A private burial was held at Beeville Memorial Park.
