Maudie Lee Bohac, 90, of Skidmore, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
Mrs. Bohac was born Oct. 16, 1927, to Maude Lee (Ricks) and Louis Selvester Fox Sr. in Wharton County. She married Emil O. "Jack" Bohac in Beeville on March 19, 1949, and was retired from Southwestern Bell where she had worked as a telephone operator. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Skidmore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Ronald Wayne Bohac; six brothers, Willard Fox, James Fox, Harvey Fox, Buck Fox, Mack Troy Fox and Andrew Fox; and two sisters, Katherine Thomas and Mary Jane Orzark.
Survivors include a daughter, Robyn (Carl F. Jr.) White of Skidmore; two grandchildren, Ty White and J.D. White; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel.
The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Taylor, Darrell Fox, Willard Joe Fox, Ben Heincke, Ty White and J.D. White.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Box and John Thomas.
