Melinda Figueroa

Melinda Figueroa, 31, of George West, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015. Mrs. Figueroa was born Jan. 16, 1984, in Falfurrias to Jose Figueroa and Linda Reaves. She worked as a waitress at Jalisco restaurant in George West. She was preceded in death by her father; grandmother, Roxie Caudle; grandfather, Antonio Figueroa; grandmother, Tomasita Figueroa; nephew, Jose Maria Carbajal III; and uncles, Robert and Larry Reaves. Survivors include her mother; two sisters, Melissa Figueroa of George West and Falescha (Jose Maria II) Carbajal of Falfurrias; a brother, Jose Figueroa,Jr. of George West; children Kyleina, Melenia and Carlos; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, from noon to 9 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in George West. A prayer service will be held that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at the Impact Church in George West with Pastor Trino Paiz officiating. Burial will follow at the George West Cemetery.
