Mildred I. McGill Breidenbach, 89, of Beeville died Monday, March 1, 2010. She was born in Sherman on Oct. 8, 1920, to Claude L. and Allie Preston Wesson McGill. She married John F. Breidenbach and was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Breidenbach was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Allie McGill; her first husband, Frank Stice; and her second husband, John F. Breidenbach. Survivors include two brothers, Louis (Beulah Faye) McGill of San Antonio and Clarence (Doris) McGill of Rosenberg; one sister, Barbara (Ronald) Larpenter of Georgetown; one stepson, John Claude (Marilyn) Breidenbach of Beeville; one stepdaughter, Kathy Breidenbach of Nevada; two step-grandchildren, Samantha Breidenbach and John Carl (Judith) Breidenbach, all of Austin; one step-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday (today) from 4 to 6 p.m. at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m., also at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Duke will officiate and burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Larpenter, Sal Landeros, John Breidenbach, Edward Wicker, John Carl Breidenbach and Alex Kibler. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the South Texas Children's Home or a charity of your choice.
