Natividad "Nick" Cabrera

Natividad “Nick” Cabrera, 66, of Mathis, Texas passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, in a Corpus Christi hospital.

Nick was born December 4, 1958, in Friona, Texas in Parmer County to Jessie Cabrera and Esther (Sanchez) Cabrera. As a certified master electrician, Nick showcased not only his expertise but also his dedication to his craft. His work ethic and skills earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Beyond his professional life, Nick's warm personality endeared him to many. He had a talent for charming those around him, particularly the women in his life, with his kind nature and jovial spirit. He was known to savor moments spent drinking beer and hosting barbecues while surrounded by the laughter and love of his family and friends.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and building guns. His children and grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Cabrera; two brothers, Jesse Cabrera and Pedro Cabrera; and a sister, Mary Cabrera.
