Nellie Waller

Nellie Faye (Bailey) Waller, 77, of Freer, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012. Ms. Waller was born April 25, 1935, in Daisetta to Viva Verna Holland and Denver Elias Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Joyce; a grandson, Ross Alden; and a step-grandson, Jimmy Jr. Survivors include her children, Barbara (Welton) Fiedler of Zabcikville, Alden (Kandi) Southmayd of Beeville, Walter (Marilyn) Southmayd of Alice, Martha Wallace of Freer, Sara (Pat) Ruiz of Lago Vista, Thomas (Tanya) Graham of Austin and Russell (Kelley) Waller of Burtonsville, Md.; 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Romeo Moreno. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted there Saturday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. with Deacon Welton Fiedler officiating. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park.
